Isabella Leong (traditional Chinese: 梁洛施; pinyin: Liáng Luò Shĩ) is a Hong Kong-based singer, actress, and model. She is considered a symbol of a new generation of actresses in Hong Kong's entertainment industry.
When Leong was 1/2 month old, her father passed away. After her father's death, her family moved to Macau to earn a living. Leong's family didn't have a pleasant time, as her mother had to work hard to raise both her and her elder sister. It was a depressing time for their family. She was raised in Macau until she was 15 years old. Isabella is of mixed descent, being one third Portuguese, one third English, and one third Chinese.

Career
(From early to present)
- To help her mother support the family, Leong joined the Emperor Entertainment Group at 12 years old, starting her work as a teenage model.
- She first began singing. Her debut album (Isabella) was released when she was 16 years old.
- Though she was supported, her singing work was not very successful, so she later switched to acting.
- She began her film career with Bug Me Not ( after Sunshine Heartbeat series TV casting as guest). For this film, she was nominated as Best New Performer in the Hong Kong Film Awards.
- 2006 was a remarkable year for Leong. Her big movie, Isabella (the movie's name is synonymous with her English name), won the Silver Berlin award at the Berlin Film Festival for Best Film Music. For Isabella, she also won the nomination for Best Actress in Hong Kong Film Awards, especially an award at Fantasporto for Best Actress and an award at Golden Bauhinia Awards for Best New Performer. The significance in these wins, however, lie in the recognition she received from the public for her potential acting ability in the Chinese community.
- In the Hong Kong Film Awards 2007, she won 2 nominations: one for Isabella, and one for Diary-Best Supporting Actress. She has become immensely popular since.
- Remaining with art films, Isabella acted in lesbian-related movie Spider Lilies. She starred in this film with Taiwanese pop singer actress Rainie Yang. This film was viewed at the Berlin Film Festival and won the Teddy Award for Best Feature Film.
- Trying to follow fellow Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi's footsteps, Leong went to Hollywood and landed a minor role in the upcoming blockbuster film The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor [1], which will be released on 1 August 2008.
